Three-Minute Management Course

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her
shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel
and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the
next-door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800
to drop that towel." After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her
towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her
$800 and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back
upstairs.

When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, "Who was that?" "It
was Bob the next door neighbor," she replies. "Great!" the husband says,
"did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?"

While the little child asked him 23 times What is this, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble and kind to them. Is Dependency Love?

One of the common misconceptions about love is the idea that DEPENDENCY is love. This is a misconception with which psychotherapists must deal with on a daily basis. Its effect is seen most dramatically in an individual who makes an attempt or gesture or threat to commit suicide or who becomes incapacitatingly depressed in response to a rejection or separation from a spouse or lover. Such a person says:

"I do not want to live, I cannot live without my husband (wife, girlfriend, boyfriend), I love him (or her) so much".

And when I respond, as I frequently do, "You are mistaken; you do not love your husband (wife, girlfriend, boyfriend),"

"What do you mean?" is the angry question. "I just told you I can't live without him (or her)."

I try to explain.

"What you describe is parasitism, not love. When you require another individual for your survival, you are a parasite on that individual. There is no choice, no freedom involved in your relationship. It is a matter of necessity rather than love. Love is the free exercise of choice. Two people love each other only when they are quite capable of living without each other but choose to be with each other."

boring daw, gusto bad boy/ pilya pero kapag pinaiyak ka tatanungin ka

Opo, eto yung ang mundo e gumagalaw lang sa libro at ballpen kung
estudyante ka o kaya naman sa computer at files kung office staff ka.
Yung tipong aalis ng bahay ng alas 6 o alas 7 ng umaga at uuwi ng bahay
ng 6 hanggang alas 8 ng gabi [baligtad naman para sa mga nag tratrabaho
sa call center]. Sabay tulog na. Kapag sabado masaya na sila sa tv, sa
pagkain na niluluto ni mama at sa linggo naman sisimba at maghahanda na
ng kelangan para sa lunes hanggang byernes. Pssssst.. pause for a while
naman!

*8. Friendship Theory*
Ano naman ito?... Eto yung ang buhay ay kay bestfriend o kaya kay
special friend, na hindi masabi-sabi sa friendship nya sa loob ng
kanilang mahabang panahon na pagsasama, dahil baka daw maapektuhan ang
pakikipagkaibigan at iwasan sya. Yung tipong pag may kasama si
friendship na iba, nagseselos na wala naman sa lugar, pero syempre wag
pahalata, kunyari happy sya for friendship. ABA ! Oi! Lakasan mo ang
loob mo at baka mamaya forever mong pagsisihan yan, kaw rin!... Minsan
pa naman pareho pala kayong naghihintayan. . hmmp!

*7. Born-to-be-one (Autistic)*
Eto yung nasa palad na ang pagiging single daw. Walang reasons. Basta
lang nabuhay sya sa mundo na mag-isa at feeling nya mamamatay sya sa
mundong mag-isa. Kesyo magmamadre o magpapari na lang... Asa kang
tatanggapin ka pa noh!

*6. Happy-go-lucky*
Eto yung taong walang alam kundi kasiyahan at trippings. Kahit sino na
lang basta no strings attached. For fun lang daw... Walang halong
seryosohan. ABA hoy! Yang init ng katawan mo e ikiskis mo na lang sa
pader. Makakahanap ka rin ng katapat mo!!!

*5. Wrong Place*
May nakaranas na ba nito? Yung pakiramdam mo nasa ibang mundo ka. Yung
ang nakakaharap mo e yung mga hindi mo gusto, yung mga hindi mo hinahanap.
Alam mo yun? Halimbawa nasa ibang bansa ka, pero ang hinahanap mo e
yung amoy ng nasa sariling bayan mo. O kaya naman e nasa sarili mong
bayan ka, nasa normal na lipunan, pero ikaw ang abnormal at hindi mo
kayang sabihin na abnormal din ang hanap mo kung ayaw mong ibitin ka
nila ng patiwarik.

*4. Wrong Time*
Eto yung mga tao na sinasabi na "hindi pa ako ready e, bata pa kasi ako"
o kaya naman "hindi pa ako handa sa panahong ito", "wala pa ako kayang
ipagmalaki". Yes meron pong ganyan. Yung feeling nila may tamang
panahon para sa love. Awwwwwww!... Aba kelan yun?!... Pag uugod-ugod ka
na at yung time mo e bitin na? O baka naman pag pang-out of time ka na?
Oist, sugod lang ng sugod!

*3. Si Parents kasi...*
Yes, factor din ang komyunidad na ginagalawan mo. Una, ayaw pa ni mader
o pader na magkaron ka kahit 22 anyos ka na at kelangan umabot ka muna
raw ng 40 bago magkaroon ng gf/bf. O kaya naman ikaw mismo! Takot sa
sasabihin ni parents at ni kapitbahay na tsismosa sa magiging kasama mo.
Aba ikaw na nga ba ang sabihan na "Alam mo hindi kayo bagay. Langit at
lupa kayo." Awwwww!... Payo ko sayo, "Pakialam nila diba?... Palibhasa inggit!"

* 2. Traumatic Experience*
Eto kalimitan ang reason ng marami. "Ayaw kona!!! Takot na ako mangyari
pa ang nangyari dati!"... O diba, ang drama ng layp?... Yes, tama ka.
Eto yung dahil sa past relationship mo, e until now aayaw mo nang

matamis at may maasim. Aba , mapalad ka at natikman mo ang ibat-ibang
lasa nito! Kaya ikaw, "Do not be afraid to fall in love again... malay
mo, sweetiness na ang malasahan mo next time.! E di panalo ka sa lotto!

Uses of Vinegar

1. Kill weeds. Spray full-strength on growth until weeds have starved.
2. Kill unwanted grass on walks and driveways.
3. Increase soil acidity. Use 1/2 cup of vinegar in 1 gallon of tap water
for watering plants such as rhododendrons, gardenias, or azaleas.
4. Deter ants. Spray vinegar around doors, appliances, and along other areas
where ants are.
5. Polish car chrome. Apply full-strength.
6. Remove skunk odour from a dog. Rub fur with full-strength vinegar and
rinse.
7. Keep cats away. Sprinkle vinegar on areas you don't want the cat walking,
sleeping, or scratching.
8. Keep dogs from scratching their ears. Use a clean, soft cloth dipped in
vinegar diluted with water.
9. Floor cleaner. Mix 1 cup white vinegar with 2 gallons hot water.
10. Freshen wilted vegetables. Soak them in 2 cups of water and a tablespoon
of vinegar.
11. Soothe a bee or jellyfish sting. Dot the irritation with vinegar to
relieve itching.
12. Relieve sunburn. Lightly rub on white vinegar. You may have to reapply.
13. Condition hair. Add a tablespoon of vinegar to dissolve sticky residue
left by shampoo.
14. Relieve dry and itchy skin. Add 2 tablespoons to bath water.
15. Fight dandruff. Mix 2 tablespoons each apple cider vinegar, water and
flax or olive oil and massage into scalp, shampooing out after 15-20
minutes.
16. Soothe a sore throat. Pour a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass
of water. Gargle, then swallow.
17. Treat sinus infections and chest colds. Add 1/4 cup or more of vinegar
to a vaporizer.
18. Deodorize the kitchen drain. Pour a cup down the drain once a week. Let
stand 30 minutes and then flush with cold water.
19. Eliminate onion odours. Rub on your fingers before and after slicing.
20. Clean and disinfect wood cutting boards. Wipe with full-strength
vinegar.
21. Remove fruit stains from hands. Rub with vinegar.
22. Cut grease and odour on dishes. Add a tablespoon of vinegar to hot soapy
water.
23. Clean a teapot. Boil a mixture of water and vinegar in the teapot. Wipe
away the grime.
24. Freshen a lunchbox. Soak a piece of bread in vinegar and let it sit in
the lunchbox overnight.
25. Clean the refrigerator. Wash with a solution of equal parts water and
vinegar.
26. Unclog a drain. Pour a handful of baking soda down the drain, add 1/2
cup of vinegar, and close with plug for 20 seconds. Rinse with hot water.
27. Clean and deodorize jars. Rinse mayonnaise, peanut butter, and mustard
jars with vinegar when empty.
28. Clean the dishwasher. Run a cup of vinegar through the whole cycle once
a month to reduce soap buildup on the inner mechanisms and on glassware.
29. Clean stainless steel. Wipe with a vinegar-dampened cloth.
30. Remove stains from pots. Fill the pot with a solution of 3 tablespoons
of vinegar to a pint of water. Boil until stain loosens and can be washed
away.
31. Clean the microwave. Boil a solution of 1/4 cup vinegar and 1 cup of
water in the microwave. Will loosen food particles from microwave walls and
deodorize.
32. Dissolve rust from bolts and other metals. Soak in full-strength
vinegar.
33. Eliminate cooking smells. Let simmer a small pot of vinegar and water
solution.
34. Unclog steam iron. Pour equal amounts of vinegar and water into the
iron's water chamber. Turn to steam and leave the iron on for 5 minutes in
an upright position. Then unplug and allow to cool. Any loose particles
should come out when you empty the water.
35. Clean a scorched iron plate. Heat equal parts vinegar and salt in a
small pan. Rub solution on the cooled iron surface to remove dark or burned
stains.
36. Remove lint from clothes. Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the rinse cycle of
the washing machine. This also helps to brighten fabric colours.
37. Freshen the washing machine. Pour 1 cup of vinegar in the machine and
let it run through a regular cycle (no clothes added). Will dissolve soap
residue.
38. Remove tough stains. Gently rub vinegar on the stains before placing in
the washing machine.
39. Eliminate smoke odours from clothes. Add 1 cup of vinegar to a bathtub
of hot water. Hang clothes above the steam.
40. Remove decals. Brush with a couple of coats of vinegar and allow to soak
in before washing off.
41. Clean eyeglasses. Wipe each lens with a drop of vinegar.
42. Freshen cut flowers. Add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of
sugar for each litre of water.
43. Extinguish fires. Throw on grease fires to arrest flames.
44. Feel good. A teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water, with a
bit of sweetener added for flavour, will give you an overall healthy
feeling.

Too Busy for a Friend?

One day a teacher asked her students to list the names of the other
students in the room on two sheets of paper, leaving a space between each
name.

Then she told them to think of the nicest thing they could say about each
of their classmates and write it down.

It took the remainder of the class period to finish their assignment, and
as the students left the room, each one handed in the papers.

That Saturday, the teacher wrote down the name of each student on a
separate sheet of paper, and listed what everyone else had said about that
individual.

On Monday she gave each student his or her list. Before long, the entire
class was smiling.

"Really?" she heard whispered. "I never knew that I meant anything to
anyone!" and, "I didn't know others liked me so much," were most of the
comments.

No one ever mentioned those papers in class again. She never knew if they
discussed them after class or with their parents, but it didn't matter.

The exercise had accomplished its purpose. The students were happy with
themselves and one another. That group of students moved on.

Several years later, one of the students was killed in Viet Nam and his
teacher attended the funeral of that special student.

She had never seen a serviceman in a military coffin before. He looked so
handsome, so mature.

The church was packed with his friends. One by one those who loved him took
a last walk by the coffin. The teacher was the last one to bless the
coffin.

As she stood there, one of the soldiers who acted as pallbearer came up to
her. "Were you Mark's math teacher?" he asked.

She nodded: "yes." Then he said: "Mark talked about you a lot."

After the funeral, most of Mark's former classmates went together to a
luncheon. Mark's mother and father were there, obviously waiting to speak
with his teacher.


"We want to show you something," his father said, taking a wallet out of
his pocket "They found this on Mark when he was killed. We thought you
might recognize it."

Opening the billfold, he carefully removed two worn pieces of notebook
paper that had obviously been taped, folded and refolded many times.

The teacher knew without looking that the papers were the ones on which she
had listed all the good things each of Mark's classmates had said about
him.

"Thank you so much for doing that," Mark's mother said. "As you can see,
Mark treasured it."

All of Mark's former classmates started to gather around. Charlie smiled
rather sheepishly and said, "I still have my list. It's in the top drawer
of my desk at home."

Chuck's wife said, "Chuck asked me to put his in our wedding album."

"I have mine too," Marilyn said. "It's in my diary"

Then Vicki, another classmate, reached into her pocketbook, took out her
wallet and showed her worn and frazzled list to the group.

"I carry this with me at all times," vicki said and without batting an
eyelash, she continued: "I think we all saved our lists"

That's when the teacher finally sat down and cried. She cried for Mark and
for all his friends who would never see him again.

The density of people in society is so thick that we forget that life will
end one day. And we don't know when that one day will be.

So please, tell the people you love and care for, that they are special and
important. Tell them, before it is too late.

Can Cheating Be Healthy For A Relationship?

A lot of men who are in serious relationships usually end up cheating after
a couple of years. The reason is simple; men stuck in long-term
relationships feel they are missing out on something. Most of the time,
these men cheat because they are frustrated and need to get it out of their
systems.

Men also like to explore and try new things. The benefit in this case is
that once men do cheat, they realize that it is nothing special and
probably won't do it again. This prevents them from being unfaithful later
on when the stakes are higher (like when they have a family) (oh well, this
is not applicable to all.. men!)

When people are in a relationship for a long time, they can't help but
start taking their significant other for granted. Sometimes they forget
just how great the woman they have really is. Men forget how wonderful it
feels to have someone who loves them unconditionally. Cheating usually
involves lustful feelings of physical attraction; nothing long-term.

The result is that once men are unfaithful, they will lie in bed and think
relentlessly about their unsuspecting partner. Why? Because the lust factor
has worn away and the reality didn't measure up to the fantasy. Instead,
they remember the good reality; the woman who loves them, bakes them
cookies and makes love to them. The old saying "you don't know what you've
got till it's gone" says it all.

The most underrated benefit of cheating is that it opens a man's eyes to
the realization that his relationship is no longer nurturing and should be
terminated. Some people remain blind to the fact that their relationship is
"on the rocks" and the only way they can finally realize that it's not
going to work out is through cheating. It's a shame that some men have to
go to this extreme to see the reality: that they're no longer satisfied
with their situation.

Let's face it, nothing lasts forever and about 95% of relationships,
married or not, end (i.e. if you date 9 women before you ever marry, your
failure rate is 90%, assuming the marriage lasts). When you do break up,
you will probably have a lot of regrets, especially concerning all the
girls you missed out on -- especially if she's a six-foot tall Swedish
model.

So what did you learn from my point of view? That cheating is disrespectful
towards the person you've cheated on, but at the very least, it has two
beneficial aspects to it. First, that you'll realize your mistake and
appreciate your lover a lot more after the horrible deed.

The second is that cheating can help you realize your misery within your
current relationship, and will likely give you that necessary shove to move
on and stop wasting both your lover's and your own time.

Never Again

He's walking away from me.
His back is tense, and I know he's angry with me.
I suppose he's got a right to be angry.

it's been a along time din bago naulit ang ganitong letter para sa'yo......i really don't know my feelings right now....ofcourse theres a certain reason for that....ang alam ko lang it started when i read a very inspiring story in the net......minsan nga gusto ko talagang i-post yun dito....kaya lang nag-iisip din ako...kasi diko pa nakwento ito sa mga friends ko.....kahit sa mga taong sobrang close sakin....ang alam lang nila may nabasa ako..yun lang...wala silang alam sa pakiramdam ko at nararamdaman ko...kasi di naman ako nagkukwento sa kanila..minsan kasi i just kept na lang sa sarili ko......kasi kung ikuikuwento ko lang sa kanila sasabihin nila...feeling na naman ako or ilusyunada...sa ngaun isang tao lang ang napagsasabihan ko ng feelings ko......but due to age gap namin di lahat nasasabi ko kasi baka di nya din ako magets or maunawaan...si friend naman kasi may problem din kaya ayaw ko na syang guluhin...yung iba naman masyadong busy and worse reaction naman kung sa iba ako magsha-share........bakit unfair ang world at life sakin...bakit..bakit..bakit.......i'm not looking for somebody...kasi i think diko na kailangang gawin yun...masaya din ako kapag kasama ko mga friends ko...but may mga times nalulungkot din ako...kasi di naman kami laging ganito...marami na ring nadagdag at sabit sa barkada....let say affected lahat kami dahil sa mga bago.....pero alangan namang dina kami tumanggap ng ibang friends...mababait naman kami kahit marami ding nagaglit sa barkadahan namin.....anyway diko talaga kayang sabihin at maipaliwanag ang feelings ko...........until then na lang po sana satin na lang toh.....i love you all!!!

I use to call him Daddy
And then just called him Dad,
As I got older I called him 'other things'
When he would make me mad.

He planted me before my birth

A True Father

Most any man can father a child for this we know is true, but to be a good dad there's a whole lot more for all these men to do.
They have to have strength to endure long days even though their bodies be tired, the love in their hearts has to show in their eyes to the child who so admires.
They have to show honesty through each day and show that life is worth living, they have to show caring in all they do in taking and in giving.
Understanding has to be a big part of the father's heart as well, and though he feels pain or hurts at times he may never, never tell.
